Q: How does it work? ^^^
A: Place the smoke canister either on or under hot grill. Within
minutes, smoke will begin to produce and escape through the small hole
on the lid of the canister. Once the smoke begins producing, place
foods on grill and close the barbeque lid. By closing the barbeque
lid, you will capture the smoke and allow it to circulate around your
foods for 20 to 40 minutes depending upon temperature.
Q: Where do I get the smoke canister? ^^^
A: It’s included in every package of SmokeStacks.
Q: How many times can I use the smoke canister? ^^^
A: As many times as it takes to use up all the wood chips in the
SmokeStack, typically (6) six or more.
Q: Do I sprinkle this on the fire? ^^^
A: No, each package has a smoke canister which when removed from
the tube should be filled and re-closed with provided lid, then placed
on or under grill.
Q: Will it work with gas grills? ^^^
A: Absolutely! This product was designed primarily for gas and charcoal
grills.
Q: What about charcoal grills? ^^^
A: Simply place filled smoke canister on briquettes after the briquettes
turn white.
Q: Won’t the charcoal ruin the smoke canister? ^^^
A: No, the smoke canister is made of tin and withstands amazing amounts
of heat even when placed directly on the fire (heat source).
Q: Do I leave it on the grill while barbequing? ^^^
A: Yes, once the smoke begins developing place foods on grill and
close lid. The smoke will produce for 20 to 40 minutes depending upon
temperature.
Q: Do I leave it on the grill once it’s
finished? ^^^
A: No, we recommend carefully removing the smoke canister with tongs
or spatula and allowed to cool. Once cooled, dump ash and place canister
back in the SmokeStack tube. The canister acts as a lid and preserves
the balance of your future grilling chips.
Q: How many barbeques can I get out of this? ^^^
A: Typically (6) six or more. It all depends on how much smoke you
require for your flavor profile. If smoke canister is filled to the
top, you will get (6) six grillings.
Q: What’s the best one? ^^^
A: It depends on what you’re grilling. On the back of the package
we have recommendations as to which foods go best with which woods.
Q: Can I use this indoors? ^^^
A: Only if you have sufficient ventilation (a hood with a great draw).
Keep in mind that the SmokeStack requires a closed cooking lid to capture
the smoke and circulate around foods. Indoor use is only applicable
with the both proper ventilation and a closed grilling environment.
Q: How much is it? ^^^
A: Typical retails are from $4.99 to $5.99. This means that it cost
less than $1.00 per barbeque to get that great wood-fired flavor.
Q: Is there really a difference in the wood
flavors? ^^^
A: Absolutely! Each wood is unique and lends itself best with certain
meats. The rear of the SmokeStack package reveals our suggestions for
best food pairing.
